Streak: 4, Syracuse (duh)
First Meeting: 2001 was actually the first time we'd ever played, if you can believe it. Preston Shumpert scored 36 and the Orange trounced the B-Cats, 103-56.
Last Meeting: The last time was 2004, when we beat them 86-56 behind Hakim Warrick's 20 points.
Head Coaches: SU: Jim Boeheim (38th Year, 928-314); Binghamton: Tommy Dempsey (2nd Year: 5-33)
Last Year: Binghamton is only now coming out of the mess caused by Georgetown assistant Kevin Broadus and it's gonna be a while before they get back on their feet. They went 3-27 last season and would prefer that you didn't discuss it.
Last Game: The B-Cats enter the game on a winning streak of one. They escaped with a 74-70 win over Mount St. Mary's on Wednesday.
Head Coach: Tommy Dempsey's got his work cut out for him. He took over the program after a solid seven-year run at Rider and is now in the process of basically building the program from scratch. We wish him well.
"Fear Me, I've Killed Hundreds Of Timelords": Jordan Reed leads Binghamton in basically everything, like scoring (15.4 PPG), rebounding (10.1 RPG), blocks (7) and steals (12).
If Syracuse Wins…: They'll keep the momentum going and also maintain their lead in the mythical New York's College Team race.
If Syracuse Loses…: It will be one of the worst losses in the history of the program.
Fun Fact: We were ranked No. 4 the last time we played Bingy, too.
Fun Fact 2: Syracuse legend Lazarus Sims is an assistant coach on the staff.
