"Very few schools seem to have a more narrow focus and have as much success as Syracuse on the recruiting trail," Snow wrote.
Richardson has terrific length, and his handle and passing are getting better. He'll simply find ways to get points at the next level. Playing with Team Final on the EYBL circuit, Richardson averaged 15.0 points and shot 39 percent from 3-point range.
"Jim Boeheim is a great coach," Richardson said. "Also having my parents close with not too far of a ride is good. I love everything about Syracuse."
The Orange is 1-3-1 all-time in Texas, with all five games played against schools that were, at one time or another, part of the Southwest Conference. However, Houston was an independent at the time of Syracuse’s visit in 1970.

Will there be disappointment in the football building if Syracuse returns from Houston without a Texas Bowl trophy? Sure. "You're just showing the guys in this locker room that you're reliable and this organization can count on you to go out there and play every snap, every weekend you take pride in that," Pugh said, according to Giants.com.
"Who knows? Maybe this can be a bridge that opens up some opportunity to recruit some kids, and they can watch our guys play, and this is how relationships are built," Shafer said. "Maybe we can find a couple and start the bridge down from Syracuse, N.Y., to Houston, Texas."
Syracuse finished the regular season 6-6 and 4-4 in the ACC. At times, the team looked inconsistent but when it looked strong, it looked really strong. The highlight of the season came down to six seconds remaining in the regular season when Terrel Hunt completed a short pass to Josh Parris to send the Orange to its third bowl game in the last four seasons. So, go ahead. Tug on his ears. Rev his engine up. "Ol’ Reliable," Tyler Ennis, is just beginning to rev up his engine. Boeheim’s Bunch would be wise to enjoy the ride because it appears Ennis is built to run like a Cadillac of Syracuse point guards.
Syracuse has a eight-game winning streak against St. John’s. In fact, the Johnnies last win, a 64-60 decision, came in 2007 at the Garden.
