It has been quite a season, hasn't it?
Following a 56-0 loss to Georgia Tech that was one of the worst performances ever by an SU football team, Scott Shafer's army of the undead dusted themselves off, put their chip right back on their shoulders, and went to work on a Wake Forest team that seemed to be ready to improbably vault themselves into the top third of the conference. In 60 minutes of football, the Orange offense struggled yet again, but the defense put in an absolutely dominant display (their second in three games, mind you) to take down the Demon Deacons, and resurrect our hopes once again that this team could go bowling in HCSS' first year as head coach.
Sitting at 4-4, we have every right to believe we can win two, or even three more games during this regular season and play our way into the postseason. We continue our quest with a date in College Park, Maryland against a team like ours...struggling to find continuity on offense, and not quite sure what they'll produce come game time. I couldn't possibly predict accurately what we'll see on Saturday afternoon, but win or lose, I don't think we can't ever write this team off as truly dead.

In this week's preview, we profile our almost rivals and fashion crime masters, The Maryland Terrapins. We offer a visitor's guide to "The Old Line State", and finally get to the bottom of who really is to blame for The Terps' departure from the ACC. Enjoy, and Go Orange!
