First Meeting: Nov. 19, 2000, when Syracuse kicked off its season with a 73-53 win over St. Francis.

Last Meeting: Arinze Onuaku scored 14 points and Wes Johnson added 12 with nine rebounds and four blocks, as seventh-ranked Syracuse defeated St. Francis, 75-51, in 2009.

School Connections: Head coach Glenn Braica was a St. John's assistant for six seasons, so he's seen what the Orange can do up close and personal.

Head Coaches: SU: Jim Boeheim (38th Year, 923-314); St. Francis: Glenn Braica (4th Year, 44-49)

Last Year: The Terriers went 12-18 overall, finishing eighth in the NEC and ending their season in the conference tourney quarterfinals.

Last Game: St. Francis tasted defeat for the first time, losing 78-58 to Dayton. That follows a very successful Florida road trip that included a win over Miami.

"Fear Me, I've Killed Hundreds Of Timelords": Keep an eye on freshman forward Wayne Martin, who contributed a game-high 17 points on 6-13 shooting in the Miami win. Junior forward Jalen Cannon leads the team with a 14.3 PPG average.

Fun Fact: This game is technically part of the Maui Invitational. College basketball tournaments are fun!
