Syracuse Orange basketball is here…in a sense. The Orange host D-II Holy Family tonight in the Dome in their first exhibition of the 2013-2014 season.
SU fans who haven't had a chance yet will finally get to see Michael Gbinije, Tyler Ennis, Tyler Roberson, Ron Patterson and B.J. Johnson in action. They'll also get reacquainted with C.J. Fair, Trevor Cooney, Baye Keita, Jerami Grant, Rakeem Christmas, DaJuan Coleman and the rest of the kooky kids. Sorry, Chinonso Obokoh, maybe next year.
If you want to watch the game on TV, I hope you live in Upstate New York. The game is only available on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel (Ch. 323) or Orange All-Access PPV. You're going to learn a lot about yourself if you end up paying money to watch this.
Get to know whatever Holy Family is here.
Jeremy Ryan will be at the game and he'll live tweet some in-game updates as well as post-game reaction from Jim Boeheim and players.
In the meantime, leave your pre-, in- and post-game comments below. G'ORANGE!
