The Syracuse Orange righted the ship last week and kicked off their final Big East slate with victories over Rutgers and USF. Their reward is to remain steady at the No. 7 team in the nation according to both polls.

In the AP Poll, it goes Duke, Michigan, Louisville, Arizona, Indiana, Kansas and then Syracuse. Other teams of note include No. 16. San Diego State, No. 17 Notre Dame, No. 19 Georgetown and No. 21 Cincinnati. Pitt fell out of the Top 25.

In the Coaches Poll, it's the same top seven put Arizona is No. 3 and Louisville is No. 4. Other teams of note include No. 15 SD State, No. 16 ND, No. 20 Cincy and No. 22 Georgetown.

In the ESPN Power Rankings, the Orange are No. 7. The ESPN folks aren't too high on Arizona, who they have all the way down at No. 6. Jason McCallum (9th) and Jason King (11th) remain the most unconvinced of the Orange.

In the other rankings...

Sagarin Ratings: 6th

Massey Ratings: 7th

Colley Matrix: 9th

RPI: 13th

The AP Voter You Arbitrarily Hate This Week remains Jon Wilner who has the Orange all the way down at No. 21. That's bad enough. Wait until I tell you that he has San Diego State all the way up at No. 8!

The AP Voter You Arbitrarily Love This Week is the Arkansas Democrat Gazette's Bob Holt, who has the Orange up at No. 5.
