A few weeks back, the Syracuse Orange defeated the Villanova Wildcats, 72-61 in the Carrier Dome, in their first game without James Southerland. They'll have to do it again this Saturday without Southie, but this time in their home-away-from-their-other-home-away-from-home, Philadelphia.

Date: Saturday, January 26th

Time: 11:00 a.m. EST

Location: Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA

TV: ESPNU/ESPN3

Announcers: TBD

Radio: Syracuse IMG Network/WAER 88.3/WTKW 99.5 FM/ESPN 97.7 FM/Sirius 112/XM 197

Records: Syracuse 18-1 (3-0), Villanova 12-7 (3-3)

Rankings: Syracuse No. 3/4, Villanova UNR

Wildcats' Last Game: The Wildcats joined Syracuse in beating up on former No. 1 Louisville. The win stopped a Big East slide by the Cats and might have saved their season.

Series: Syracuse leads 38-31.

Current Streak: 3, Syracuse

Last Game: C.J. Fair and Jerami Grant picked up the slack left by Southerland's absence as the Orange beat Villanova 72-61 in the Dome.

Villanova Last Year: Villanova had a bit of a rough go in the Big East last year, finishing 13-19 overall and 5-13, a sharp drop-off from their 21-win season the year before. Nova missed the NCAA Tournament for the first time in eight years.

Villanova Coach: Jay Wright (12th season) - He's no Boeheim but Wright has become an institution at Nova. Of course, institution or not, he's gonna have to see some improvement on last year's finish.

"Fear Me, I've Killed Hundreds Of Timelords": JayVaughn Pinkston and Ryan Arcidiacono are the team's leading scorers. Pinkston led the Cats with 12 points in the first meeting while Mouphtaou Yarou added 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Fun Fact: Villanova is doing a White-Out for the game. You know how that goes.

Unexciting Reason To Watch: 11:00 a.m. for a basketball game? WTF?

Exciting Reason To Watch: The Cats proved last week they're a team worth taking seriously and it's going to be a whole new ballgame in Philly compared to the Dome. Nova fans are really hoping to beat us in the Big East one last time.
