No rest for anyone this Monday as the Syracuse Orange and Cincinnati Bearcats must both put huge emotional wins behind them and do battle on MLK Day in the Dome.

Date: Monday, January 21st

Time: 3:30 p.m. EST

Location: Carrier Dome, Syracuse, NY

TV: ESPN/ESPN3

Announcers: Sean McDonough, Jay Bilas, Bill Raftery

Radio: Syracuse IMG Network/WAER 88.3/WTKW 99.5 FM/ESPN 97.7 FM/Sirius 112/XM 197

Records: Syracuse 17-1 (5-0), Cincinnati 16-3 (4-2)

Rankings: Syracuse No. 6/6, Cincinnati UNR/No. 24 (new polls not out yet)

Cincy's Last Game: Playing without star point guard Cashmere Wright, the Cats started hot, let Marquette back into the game but then held on in overtime to eek out a 71-69 victory:

The game was weird because there was no flow in the second half. Both teams got to the line under 10 times in the first half. The teams went to the line 38 times in the second half and 7 in overtime. The officials were not consistent from possession to possession. Guys would get hammered under the basket, no call. Guys would get bumped on the perimeter, whistle. Guys pushed off on rebounds, no call. Then you get the questionable charge calls. It was quite ridiculous. I hope the officials don't call a game like this the rest of the season.

Series: Syracuse leads 7-3.

Current Streak: 1, Cincinnati

Last Game: Cincy was one of only three teams to beat Syracuse last season, doing so in the Big East Tournament, and snapping a four-game winning streak in the series by SU.

Cincy Last Year: The Bearcats put together a 26-11 (12-6) season that saw them reach the Big East Tournament Championship Game and culminated in the Sweet Sixteen with a loss to Ohio State. Had they won that game, they would have met Syracuse in the Elite Eight.

Cincy Coach: Mick Cronin (7th season) - Mick's got Cincinnati back on track and has put back-to-back 26-win seasons on the record books. He's 124-88 at Cincy and he wishes you'd notice sometimes.

"Fear Me, I've Killed Hundreds Of Timelords": Sean Kilpatrick (18.3 PPG) and Cashmere Wright (15.1 PPG) lead the scoring attack. Good news for Syracuse is that it sounds like Wright will miss this game as well.

Fun Fact: Cincinnati is 2-27 all-time against Top 5 teams on the road and have lost 20 in a row. Cincy has also never won four-straight Big East games, which they are attempting to do.

Unexciting Reason To Watch: You're a big James Southerland fan?

Exciting Reason To Watch: Syracuse beat the No. 1 team in the nation on Saturday. Whatever lingering doubts you had about this team's potential are dust. This is exciting again.
