The Syracuse Orange football coaching staff tw keeps spinning and spinning. Where it will end, nobody knows. Well, I guess Scott Shafer know, or should I say "hard-knows?"

Syracuse officially introduced OC George McDonald and QB Coach Tim Lester yesterday and the word on the street is that both of them are already recruiting guys to Syracuse hard(nosed).

And it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that DeAndre Smith will be leaving his post as RB coach at New Mexico to do the same for SU. His son, who was committed to play for UNM next season, is now opening up his recruiting again because of it. I'm guessing the WR will give Syracuse a look.

With Steve Morrison? SU's LB coach was noticeably absent in yesterday's announcment of who is staying. Shafer alluded to the facf that there's something holding up the process (another interview?):

"Just give me a little more time on that," Shafer said. "We just can’t talk about it right now."

Take your time, coach.

The big question with all of this coaches now is, can they help up keep a stranglehold on NYC as well as recruit elsewhere?
