Jim Boeheim Doesn't Care What You Call The Building, Just Put A Basketball Court In It

We're nearing the end of men's basketball in the 2012 Olympics which means we're nearing the end of Jim Boeheim's blog during it. Life soldiers on but let's savor what we have before it's gone...

...people say that it’s hard to beat a good team three times, and since we’ve already beaten Argentina twice in a little over two weeks, that could be a factor. But I don’t believe in any of that. I think if you beat a team twice, you should beat that team again. If you beat somebody twice, there must be a reason for it, right?

Hi UConn!

The fans seem to be really enjoying this team. The games have been moved to a bigger arena, to that place that used to be called the O2. I don’t know the name of it now, but I never knew why they called it the O2 when they called it the O2.

You know, I'm beginning to think there's a 30% chance Jim doesn't even know why it's called the Carrier Dome either.

I just know that it has a good court, it’s a pretty nice building and that it seats about 18,000 people. And we had more of them cheering for us than for anybody else.

Yep, now I'm 75% sure...

There’s no more sightseeing for us. That’s done. It’s just basketball now. Only basketball. We’re in the Olympics Final Four with Argentina, Spain and Russia. Nothing else matters.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
