Did you spend all summer bitching and moaning about how you couldn't watch the Syracuse Orange football team practice in the spring? Well bitch and moan no more (though I'm sure you will) because you'll have the chance to watch the team practice up close and personal on Friday at Syracuse's annual Orange Fanfest.
Orange Fanfest starts at 3 p.m. with practice running from 3:20-5:30 p.m. on the Schwartzwalder and Katz practice fields behind Manley Field House. An autograph session with members of this year's team will take place immediately after practice. Free posters and schedule cards will be available for all who attend Fanfest.
The event is free, parking is free and best of all, usage of the inflatable jumpies (for kids) is free. There will also be appearances by "various Syracuse student-athletes." Better be Jenna Caira or I'm not interested.
SU soccer fans should also show up as the Men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball will be on hand to sign autographs and then Men's soccer will play its annual Orange and Blue game at 4:30 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium.
Go have some fun and make sure you post your pics next to Charley Loeb either in the FanShots or on Twitter/Facebook. I'll be on the lookout...
