A lot of people (and I mean a LOT of people) have tweeted at Dion Waiters, telling him they're his biggest fan and that they would appreciate some acknowledgement of that fact. As we know well, Dion is not one to hold back on that acknowledgement in the form of a retweet.

But did you know Dion made Retweet Housecalls as well (via Donna Ditota)?

"I asked him if he had any plans for dinner and told him to stop over the house if he wasn’t busy," Mackey said. "The only thing he said was, ‘Do you all live far from here?'"

Waiters returned to Syracuse last weekend from his native Philadelphia with five cousins in tow. The whole Waiters’ crew appeared on the Mackeys’ doorstep Saturday evening and stayed until about 9 p.m. Waiters challenged Mackey’s husband, Jeff, to the playground game of "H-O-R-S-E." He shot baskets with Mikaila Ryan, the Mackeys’ daughter. He mingled with Andrea Mackey’s brother, who lives down the block, and her parents, who live across the street.

Think about all those times you asked Dion for a RT when instead you could have asked him to come by your house for dinner or come over to change the oil on your car and there's a 93% he would have done it. What a wasted opportunity for you.

I suppose we shouldn'y be too surprised. It's right there in the catchphrase. Humble & Hungry. If you're offering tacos, the man's hungry for tacos.
