If you've read this site long enough, you've probably come to the conclusion that I'm not what one would categorize as a big race car aficionado. I don't really know what a Late Model race car is, why it's late and why people aren't using Regular Model race cars instead.
So I wasn't up to speed on Mr. Tim McCreadie, American Dirt Late Model racing driver. I did, however, watch this video today where McCreadie wears a Syracuse-themed scarf and, at the 3:00 mark, shares his thoughts on the Syracuse Orange's upcoming move to the ACC:
As I've since come to find out, he has season tickets in the Carrier Dome for Syracuse basketball game. Floor seats, no less.
Also, he is the winner of the 2006 Chili Bowl, which presents a very easy joke about bowl victories and Syracuse.
So next time you're watching the ARCA RE/MAX Series or the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, whatever those are, make sure you're rooting for #39 (who took #44 and why can't Tim have it?).
