New Zealand? Conquered.
Australia? Done With Down Under.
Turkey? Cooked it.
Boise? Bronco-busted.
The only place left for former Syracuse Orange player Eric Devendorf to lay waste with his basketball skills? The Ukraine, comrade.
Christos Lazarou, a representative with Side By Side Sports, confirmed that Devendorf, who played at Syracuse University from 2005 to 2009, has signed with Dnipro Azot, which is a member of Ukraine’s SuperLeague.
Dnipro Azot is located in the Ukrainian city of Dneprodzerzhinsk.
Devo joins a roster that already includes former USF player Alan Wiggins and "Crazy Eyez Killa" Maxim Balashov.
Dniprodzerzhynsk is a big industrial town with a lot of churches and is considered one of the most polluted cities in the world. Living the dream, Devo.
Dnipro Azot is part of the Ukraine SuperLeague, which is not in fact a group of Eastern European superheroes but the top league in the country. Dnipro is coming off a 21-18 season that ended in the first round of the playoffs.
