Nation Of Orange - Interview With Senior OL Zack Chibane
As part of our ‘Orange Outlook’ series, and in conjunction with Big East Media Day, we caught up with Senior Offensive Lineman Zack Chibane. He has started each of the past 25 games (knock on wood), and looks to be one of the anchors up front again this year. He appeared on the post-spring depth chart as the starting Left Guard, and he is focused on having a successful final season in an Orange uniform.

CBSSports.com 2012 Preseason All-Big East Team - CBSSports.com
Alec Lemon, Syracuse - Lemon set a school record for receptions (68) in 2011, and was the Big East's fourth most productive receiver with 834 yards on the season. The 6-foot-2, 202 pound senior has proven to be Ryan Nassib's most reliable target, and the return of deep-threat Marcus Sales should only improve Lemon's ability to get open in underneath and intermediate routes.

My Big East Preseason Ballot - Big East Coast Bias
7. Syracuse - I like Doug Marrone and I think he doesn't get enough credit for just how much he's achieved in his time at Syracuse. Taking the team to a pair of bowls before last year's using season was a real feat. Now I fear that the momentum is waning and the fact that he hasn't significantly upgraded the talent level in recruiting means last year's swoon is more likely the norm than the outlier. The Orange have an extremely difficult non-conference schedule and in the conference don't appear to have the offensive line or running backs to make Marrone's offense work against the better defenses in the league (despite how well I think quarterback Ryan Nassib has played).

Like any other football team, it’ll all start up front for this year’s Syracuse Orange. The O-Line returns three starters from last season and needs to show some improvement if the offense is to regain some of the mojo it lost during the epic collapse of ’11. Here’s an introduction to the offensive linemen that will see the field in 2012.
