You've been waiting a long time to see how Ryan Nassib is doing, what Ashton Broyld can do and just how good Jay Bromley has become.
You'll start getting answers to those questions and many more starting August 6th when Syracuse Orange football practice kick off (via Syracuse.com):
Syracuse University football players and coaches will meet the media on Aug. 4 and then formally go to work for the 2012 season two days later.
The Orange will have a media session that Saturday, and then hold a team orientation day on Sunday before starting practices Aug. 6, according to a schedule released this morning by the football office.
Of course the first question is...will practice be open to media? We assume so. However they are, as always, closed to the public.
The lone exception is Orange Fan Day, which will be held Friday Aug. 10 from 3:20 to 5:30 p.m. No word on the specifics yet but they usually include an autograph session and, of course, INFLATABLE JUMPIES!
In the past, the day has been known as Orange FanFest. Guessing the name change means nothing, but, don't be surprised if we start referring to it as New York's College Orange Fan Day soon enough.
