Louisville Cardinals, prepare to come home.

Well, not your home. Our home. It's homecoming and you're invited.

Well, actually, we don't call it Homecoming. We call it Orange Central. Why? Hell is we know. It doesn't even make sense to us.

Whatever the case, when you visit the Dome to play us on November 10th you'll be doing so during our Homeco...Orange Cent...Whatever weekend.

Homecoming has been a sticky wicket for SU football in recent years. While we have no problem ruining everyone else's Homecoming, we also seem to do a phenomenal job of ruining our own. Last year was the 37-17 loss to South Florida. 2010 featured the demoralizing 45-14 loss to Pitt. 2009 was another loss to South Florida (34-20).

The last time SU won on Homecoming weekend? 2008 against Northeastern (30-21). Probably should have picked an opponent of the same caliber this time around too. If only we had any on the schedule.

FYI, Syracuse's basketball opener against San Diego State takes place on November 9th, so if you're not planning on making the trip out West, I suppose you know where to find everyone now.
