Much like the Orange football squad, I have completely forgotten about the second half of this. My bad. Here are some more players that you really should know.

Name: Alec Lemon

Number: 15

Position: Wide receiver

Year: Senior

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 202

Hometown: Crafton, MD

High School: Arundel Senior

2011 Stats: Lemon was one of the key cogs of the Syracuse squad. He started all 12 games and was named to the 2nd Team all Big East after finishing his season with 68 receptions, 834 yards, and 6 touchdowns. Lemon was arguably the most reliable set of hands on the field and was a favorite target of Nassib's over the middle and on third down plays.

2012 Predictions: Lemon is currently recovering from an upper body/arm injury that had him in a cast and sling through Spring Practice. The worst case scenario for the Orange is that Lemon is not ready to go at the onset of the year and Marcus Sales and Jeremiah Kobena are forced to team up. Lemon will provide an excellent counter to the more explosive Sales, and will be have to take on an ever greater role on third down plays as Nick Provo, Nassib's other favorite target, has graduated.

How'd he get here? Syracuse and Greg Robinson offered him first and he shut down his recruitment after that. There was interest from other FBS schools but Lemon kept his verbal commit to the Orange.

What did Scouts/Rivals say? Scout gave Lemon 3 stars while Rivals decided to be the tough judge with 2.

Money Quote: On his expectations for himself:

I’ve always wanted to be great. So I would say good season, but I want to be great.

Runner up:

Can you retweet a retweet or is that just dumb

Links O'Wonder: Nice piece by the home area Baltimore Sun after Lemon's career game against UConn.

Marrone Thinks: Good things about Alec:

Alec has always had this in him. Coming out of high school he caught a ton of passes, and that’s what you’re looking for. He has always had that ability to play like he’s playing now. We’re looking for him to do it every week.

Nugget O' Intrest: Maryland has lots of Lemon records, including single season yards (1,616) touchdowns (23) and receptions (103).
