Do you like baseball? Well, as a Syracuse Orange alum, you're SOL on watching your Orange playing in the College World Series anytime soon. In the meantime, you'll just have to settle for the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies.

Syracuse University Day II at Yankee Stadium is approaching and tickets are still available. Fans of New York's College Team can watch New York's Top Baseball Team in one of New York's Baseball Stadiums in New York on Saturday, June 30 when the Yankees take on the Chicago White Sox.

The event includes a pre-game cookout, bus transportation from Syracuse University and the chance to see SU alumnus Tom Coughlin throw out the opening pitch.

Meanwhile, Syracuse fans in Philadelphia are planning a little baseball outing of their own. The SU Alumni Club of Philadelphia is welcoming home the Class of 2012 for a Thursday, June 21 game between the Phillies and Colorado Rockies.

Pre-game festivities will take place on the McFadden's Ballpark Restaurant & Saloon patio (located at the ballpark – www.mcfaddensballpark.com) and will begin at 5:00 PM. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM. FREE food and soft drinks—courtesy of SUPAC—will be served on the McFadden’s patio until game time.

Meanwhile, the Mets keep waiting for someone...anyone...to come spend the day with them.
