Jenna Caira threw her fourth career no-hitter as the Syracuse University softball team (40-13, 17-5) defeated 18/16 USF (45-10, 17-5) on Senior Day, 7-0, at the SU Softball Complex. In her last career start at home, Caira struck out eight Bulls and registered her 25th victory of the season. It was her second no-hitter of the campaign and she is now 25-6 with a 1.53 ERA.

Syracuse men’s lacrosse coach John Desko and women’s lacrosse coach Gary Gait both participated in the filming of "Crooked Arrows," the first major motion picture to ever focus on the sport of lacrosse. Desko and Gait are two of several lacrosse coaches with cameos in the film.
