'No Place Like Dome!!' & No Syracuse Cartoon Collection Like This

For decades, Joe Glisson’s has recorded the biggest moments in Syracuse sports with his illustrations in the Syracuse New-Times. Glisson and Syracuse University's inaugural collegiate chapter of the national organization, Women in Sports and Events (WISE), are now working together to market and sell copies of his latest and last cartoon retrospective of Syracuse and national sports events over the last 16 years entitled, "No Place Like Dome!!"

Glisson is donating a percentage from the sale of each book to WISE-SU to establish a scholarship for young women pursuing a career in sports or events at Syracuse University.

The book will chronologically highlight some of the most memorable moments in SU sports history from 1996 to their final game of the 2012 season in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament while touching on the national sports moments that affected fans across the country. The forward for the book is written by Syracuse alumnus and ESPN Monday Night Football commentator Mike Tirico.

The book costs $11.95 and is available on JoeGlisson.com and at the Syracuse University Bookstore. Limited copies of his previous two books "Dome Sweet Dome" and "Seems Like Old Times" are also available online.
