Karl Towns is a 6'11" high school freshman who's been creating buzz because of his play this spring. Desko and his staff will gather and dissect the season, consider the losses they will absorb due to graduation and begin to prepare for 2013. It will be an easier challenge than last year’s when a parade of four-year starters marched departed following a quarterfinal loss to Maryland. Commentary: Boise State should bail out on the sinking Big East Conference (Steve Greenberg) | syracuse.com
The Broncos’ determination to board such a ship is absurdly counterintuitive. At best, there will be guaranteed short-term financial benefits; a new television rights deal negotiated by the Big East later this year could mean upward of $10 million more per year to BSU than it has ever received in poorer conferences. At worst? The BSU program could be hastening its own destruction.

ACCross The Web, May 15 Articles
Re-alignment rumors heated up again yesterday in the ACC as Florida State University president Eric Barron discussed a potential move to the Big 12 in the form of a pros and cons list outlining why FSU would even consider such a move, and why the Seminoles should ultimately decide to stay in the ACC. In summary, FSU values football while the ACC values basketball, the league is too ‘North Carolina-centric’, and the ‘Noles can make more money each year in the Big 12, while on the other hand, the Big 12 is Texas-centric, it would cost more in terms of travel, and in likely revealing what it all boils down to, Florida State can’t afford the $20 to $25 million exit fee to leave the ACC.

We would’ve gone with "Ineffa Bowl" – Campus Union
The Insight Bowl is the Insight Bowl no longer, you might recall, and the game is apparently intent on taking neither our helpful suggestion of bringing back another Pizza Bowl nor Jason Kirk’s idea to name the game after one of Arizona’s chief exports. No, the bowl has gone and added a bunch of underscores to its Twitter handle instead, and opened the next step up to crowdsourcing in a viral marketing effort that will in no way end in heartbreak:
