With the 2011-2012 season being complete, it's now time for the SU basketball staff to turn their attention to recruiting. Starting with the 2013 class all the way to 2015, we will fill you in on who the staff is targeting and where everything currently stands in their recruitment.

Derrick Coleman, who the Nets selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 1990 NBA draft, came in at No. 4. Coleman averaged 19.9 points and 10. 6 rebounds in five years with the Nets. He was the 1991 NBA Rookie of the Year and he helped the Nets to three consecutive playoff appearances in 1992, 1993 and 1994.

Under Queener’s guidance, Costantino has compiled an impressive 12-1 record to help the No. 2 Orange (13-2, 6-0 Big East) emerge as one of the top teams in the country this season. Richardson has been a capable backup, playing in 12 of SU’s 15 games thus far.

Legendary Syracuse football wide receiver Art Monk will learn if he is part of the 2012 College Football Hall of Fame Class when the National Football Foundation (NFF) announces the inductees on May 15. The event, hosted by NASDAQ OMX, will reveal the 14 players and three coaches selected to enter college football's ultimate shrine.

Overall, I’m hearing that some 3-4 teams see him as an OLB. I don’t see the suddenness they would want the player to have in coverage. I see him more as a 4-3 or 3-4 defensive end. If he is drafted by a 3-4 team, he will need to bulk up some to be a consistent 5-technique player.
