For Powell, hunting and music take up much of his time these days. It’s been eight years since he wrapped up his brilliant Syracuse career. He left as the program’s all-time leading scorer and was honored with the Tewaaraton Trophy twice as the nation’s top player. Powell passed up a professional lacrosse career out of college to pursue other endeavors, though. He still stays involved in the game as a color analyst for CBS Sports Network, but he devotes even more time to his budding music career.

Grant was among twenty student-athletes to participate in the Jordan Brand Classic, an annual all-star game of the elite high school basketball players in the country.

The Orange used a steady rotation on faceoffs, utilizing five different players to try and disrupt Dattilo. Syracuse continued to struggle, like it has all season. Chris Daddio and Megill took more than half of the Orange’s draws, but went a combined 6-of-16.

The Orange will take the field at 11 a.m. for warm-ups and the game is scheduled to begin at noon. Parking and admission are free, and all fans will receive a Syracuse Football poster. Following the game, an autograph session will be held in the concourses behind the east and west end zones.
