What are you doing reading this? Syracuse plays at 12pm EST at Madison Square Garden against UConn and it’s supposed to be a gorgeous 65 degree day. You should be wearing your "Real Men Wear Orange" T-shirts and milling around the bars surrounding MSG with not one, but two beers in your hands just yelling random things at fans from any other school you come in contact with. I'm pretty sure all open container laws are suspended today. (Don't quote me on that..).

Or if you couldn’t pony up the dough for a ticket to see our basketball gods play in what’s widely known as their home away from the dome, there are a few bars you should be at:

East Village – Village Pourhouse – Official Alumni Spot

Upper East Side – East End

Kips Bay – Bar 29 (Owned by a Cuse Grad)

East Village – Professor Thoms

Midtown – Stout

Are you stuck at work like I will be? Then there’s at least ESPN3.com, Big East Live, and Twitter to keep you entertained. Follow #Garden30 or #OrangeNation or #BeatUConn to get up to the second commentary.

I’d like to make a bold statement and say that there’s probably no way this will wind up being as classic as say, the 6 Overtime game from a few years ago, but with these teams and this rivalry, who knows. A word to the wise: if you’re going to go watch the game on your lunch break, make sure to let your coworkers know there’s a strong chance you may A) not come back or B) not come back sober.
