Just the other day, former Syracuse Orange basketball player and iconic Maine Red Claw Paul Harris told SLAM Online that his goal "is to continue to take my game to another level and one day play in the NBA."
He'll continue to take his game to another level as part of the Iowa Energy now.
Harris joins Georgetown's Patrick Ewing, Jr. on the Energy roster, where they are the NBDL team of note for the Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Hornets and Washington Wizards.
You may remember previous Syracuse - Iowa partnerships from Demetris Nichols' first two stints with the Energy and then his third stint in 2009.
Iowa is currently 23-21 and in fifth place in the East Conference. The team is fighting for playoff contention and is currently one place outside of the postseason. And that's where Paul Harris comes in, I hope.
The Energy have six regular-season games remaining on the season.
