Let's call a spade a spade. It hasn't been the best season for Syracuse lacrosse. The team is fairly young and is going through a number of growing pains. Also, the face-offs are kind of a mess.
However, nothing screams "right the ship" like a nice beat down of the 1-3 Providence Friars. Providence's lone win on the year was over lowly Wagner 13-5, back on February 25th. The Friars average 8.25 goals per game, and are actually pretty efficient in the EMO, where they are ranked 10th nationally.
Syracuse is coming off of an 11-7 loss against Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.
Syracuse is 3-0 all time against Providence, and 13-0 against Big East competition all time. Providence is yet to win a Big East game in its illustrious history, sitting at 0-13.
I'll be at the Dome watching Syracuse melt faces. Game time is 7 pm. If you can't make it, leave your comments down below.
