MC Dubz On Mall Incident: 'It Looked Worse Than It Was'

Mike Waters spoke with Michael Carter-Williams at Syracuse Orange basketball practice today, he who is probably not going back to Lord & Taylor anytime soon, and got some reaction from the man-child himself about what happened...or didn't happen.

"The whole thing was really a misunderstanding," Carter-Williams said. "We handled it there and that’s really the end of it."

Regarding the photos sent out via Instagram, Carter-Williams said, "It looked worse than it was. That’s about it. It was a misunderstanding. It’s all worked out. I’m not worried about it or looking back on it. I’m looking ahead to practice today and the next game."

So, we can confirm that, yes, that was MC-Dubz in the photo and, yes, Lord & Taylor's security guy is ENORMOUS.

Dubz heard about it from his mom ("She was concerned") and barely got any reaction out of Boeheim ("He asked me what happened and I told him and that was it. He said ‘All right, I’ll see you Tuesday.’"). Sounds about right.

And so, it's done. We can all move on with our lives. Michael C-W, please stick to shopping online for the rest of the season. Thank you.
