No one in front of us lost this week, so the Syracuse Orange hold steady at the No. 4 spot in both polls.
In the AP, it goes Indiana, Duke, Michigan and then the Orange. Louisville and Florida swapped spots at No. 5 and No. 6. Other Big East teams include No. 11 Cincinnati, No. 15 Georgetown and No. 22 Notre Dame. San Diego State checks in at No. 18.
Over in the Coaches Poll, it's the same top six again as Syracuse is a solid No. 4. Louisville is No. 6, Cincinnati is No. 12, Georgetown is No. 21 and Notre Dame is No. 24. San Diego State is at the No. 15 spot.
In the ESPN Power Rankings, Syracuse dropped from No. 4 to No. 5. I guess we were supposed to beat Monmouth by 80.
In the Colley Matrix Top 50, Syracuse is all the way down in seventh. It's Duke at the top spot, following by Michigan, New Mexico, Illinois, Florida, Indiana and then us.
In the RPI, our terrible, pathetic, shameful schedule has us in the No. 11 slot overall. Duke is No. 1.
Sagarin has the Orange fifth overall. They're behind Duke, Florida, Indiana and Louisville.
AP Voter You Arbitrarily Hate This Week remains Ron Morris who continues to keep SU at the No. 10 spot. Ron is unimpressed by wins over Monmouth and Long Beach State, and, you know, fair enough. Ron is bullish on Louisville (No. 3) and Missouri (No. 6).
AP Voter You Arbitrarily Love This Week is a list that has now grown to thirteen. The thirteen AP voters who put Syracuse all the way up at No. 3 now includes Dick "Hoops" Weiss. We're back in Dick's good graces!
