Somehow, and I'm still not sure, the Syracuse Orange have a chance to get bowl eligible this weekend. It's a tall task, however, as they head to Columbia, MO to take on James Franklin and the Missouri Tigers. Let's get the particulars out of the way.

Somehow, and I'm still not sure, the Syracuse Orange have a chance to get bowl eligible this weekend. It's a tall task, however, as they head to Columbia, MO to take on James Franklin and the Missouri Tigers. Let's get the particulars out of the way.

Date: Saturday, November 17th

Location: Faurot Field, Columbia, MO

Time: 7:00 p.m. ET

TV: ESPNU

Announcers: Clay Matvick, Matt Stinchcomb, Allison Williams

Radio: Syracuse IMG Network/WAER 88.3/WTKW 99.5 FM/ESPN 97.7 FM/Sirius 112/XM 197

Records: Syracuse (5-5), Missouri (5-5)

Odds: Missouri -4.5

Over/Under: 54.5

Series: Syracuse, 2-0

Current Streak: Syracuse, 2

Marrone's Record Vs: 0-0

Syracuse's Record Vs. Missouri in Columbia: 1-0

SU's Last Win: 1987, 24-13

Last Time: October 3rd, 1987

The Orangemen, with the No. 1-ranked rushing defense in the nation, held the Tigers (who’d entered the game with the fifth-rated rushing offense) to less than half their 330.2-yard average as Ted Gregory registered 11 tackles. Still, it was [Dan] Bucey, filling in for the injured Derek Ward, who received the game ball after making 11 tackles of his own.

Fun Fact: Missouri hasn't lost a home game to a non-conference opponent since 2005. That's an 18-game winning streak.

Unexciting Reason To Watch: A win here would even up Syracuse's all-time record against SEC schools at 11-11-1.

Exciting Reason To Watch: If Syracuse wins, you can pretty much book your hotel in Manhattan and buy that ticket for the Pinstripe Bowl.
