The Star-Ledger of Newark reports that the freshman kicker tweaked a hip injury in Saturday's win over Connecticut and will be limited for this week's game against Syracuse University.

Interesting news out of Piscataway, N.J., on Monday concerning Rutgers kicker Kyle Federico. The Star-Ledger of Newark reports that the freshman kicker tweaked a hip injury in Saturday's win over Connecticut and will be limited for this week's game against Syracuse University.

Removing that game from the mix the total won-loss record of Rutgers’ four FBS foes – Tulane, South Florida, Arkansas and Connecticut – is 7-16. Of the four only the Huskies (3-3) have a .500 record. Meanwhile, SU’s four FBS foes – Northwestern, USC, Minnesota and Pittsburgh – are 15-6 combined.
