The Syracuse Orange men's basketball program is quickly try to solidify its recruiting class of 2013, and it may do it next week when Ron Patterson will make an official visit to the campus.

Patterson, a 6'3, 195-pound, three-star guard according to Rivals, is also being courted by the Ohio St. Buckeyes, DePaul Blue Demons, Illinois Fighting Illini and Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Indianapolis native was once a target of the Indiana Hoosiers, however, he did not qualify academically. Patterson has spent the last year at the prep school Brewster Academy (N.H.)
