Doug Marrone and company really got after it on the recruiting trail this summer; we already have 20 commits in our 2012 class.  Let's take a look at how everyone's doing at their respective schools...

Ashton Broyld and Tyree Smallwood, who were originally supposed to be members of our 2011 class, are currently enrolled at Milford Academy.  Milford is currently 3-0, with wins over Atlanta Sports Prep, Hudson Valley, and Lehigh (34-28, 50-0, and 26-21 respectively).  Broyld has been very impressive so far.  In the opener versus Atlanta, Ashton went 9-of-12 passing for 134 yards and a touchdown, and rushed 11 times for 93 yards and two touchdowns.  He didn't play quite as much in the second game, the blowout against Hudson Valley.  He completed 4-of-5 passes for 45 yards and a touchdown, and ran the ball 4 times for 75 yards and two scores.  Stats from the Lehigh game are not yet available.

Smallwood only played in the first game, where he ran the ball 6 times for 63 yards, and a touchdown, and caught 3 passes for 9 yards.

Poncho Barnwell from East HS in Rochester had a huge opener, with 11 tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble in a 42-6 win over Ithaca in the Carrier Kickoff Classic at the Dome.

Over in Pennsylvania, Harold Brantley had a nice game in Hershey HS's 28-18 victory over Milton Hershey in the "Cocoa Bowl".  Brantley ran the ball 9 times for 33 yards and 3 TDs.  He also recorded 2 tackles and a sack on defense.

Ben Lewis does a little bit of everything for the Middletown Knights.  In their first game, a 42-12 win over Catoctin, he ran the ball 3 times for 81 yards and a TD, caught five passes for 77 yards and a TD, and recorded 3 tackles and 0.5 sacks on defense.
