The Syracuse Orange football team is getting their close-up in 2011. With six games already slated for national television, SU announced that three more games will be available on TV for your viewing pleasure.
SU’s home game against Rhode Island on September 10 will kick off at 4:30 p.m. and will be televised on Time Warner Cable and SNY. The next two home games, against Toledo (Sept. 24) and Rutgers (Oct. 1) are BIG EAST Network selections and will kick off at 12:00 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
Add that to the Wake Forest game on ESPN3.com (if that counts), USC (FX), West Virginia (ESPN or ESPN2), South Florida (ESPN) and Pittsburgh (ABC/ESPN/ESPN2).
The Rhode Island game also joins Wake Forest (8pm), USC (8pm), Tulane (8pm), West Virginia (8pm) and USF (8pm) at games with a later start for SU.
Now we're just waiting on times for the Louisville, UConn, Pitt and Cincy games.
If we play our cards right, there's a good chance the three remaining, non-televised Big East games could still see the light of day as well.
