Ricardo "Ricky" Ledo is one of the top basketball prospects in the class of 2012. ESPN says, "Ledo's talent is virtually limitless." Rivals says he's the No. 1 shooting guard in the nation and the No. 8 recruit overall. Scout gives him four stars.
In other words, he's kinda a big deal. He originally committed to Providence (snicker) but then realized he was committing to Providence and backed off.
From there he became a hot commodity and is now the apple of many top program's eyes, such as Kentucky, UConn, Florida and Syracuse.
Ledo was in Syracuse this weekend for the Syracuse Elite Camp, in which the SU staff hosts a lot of possible recruits and runs through the motions with them.
Ledo had an in-depth discussion with Jim Boeheim about life, love and Syracuse. What exciting, deep, penetrating thoughts were discussed in this critical convo?
"He spoke to me," Ledo said. "He said he liked my game and some other stuff."
Oh.
Reminder, Ledo and MCW are pretty close, so that's good (Mike Carter is like my brother."). He also plans on visiting UConn and Kentucky, though no dates are set yet.
