Jason Hart, a former Inglewood High and Syracuse guard who played for nine teams over nine NBA seasons, including parts of two with the Clippers, has been named the new boys' basketball coach at Taft.

There is simply not much success to be had if you can’t protect your quarterback or create gaps for a runner. Luckily for Syracuse, four of last year’s five starters on the offensive line are returning. The exception is former center Ryan Bartholomew, who actually managed to notch a touchdown in 2010 after a goal line fumble. Bartholomew is slated to be replaced by sophomore Macky MacPherson.

Colgate women's lacrosse head coach Heather Young has announced the hiring of Liz Hogan, a former four-time All-Big East First Team goalkeeper, as an assistant coach for the Raiders. The 2011 Syracuse graduate will be working primarily with the goalkeepers and will help out assistant coach Melissa Pearsall with the defense.
