The Scoop Jardine Summer Camp Tour is almost done. He started at Chris Paul's camp, moved on to Deron Williams camp and he most recently spent time at LeBron's Skills Academy last week.
As you might imagine, Scoop had a great time hanging with Bron-Bron while learning a lot.
Hanging out with Lebron James was cool because I got to learn a lot from him, and he’s a real funny guy, but the basketball experience was great. We played a lot of five-on-five, just like at DWill camp, but we went up against Lebron, his high school teammates, and Chris Paul and Eric Bledsoe. It was great to go up against CP and EBled again because they are great players and push me to get better. The final day was the best day for me, I was really balling out there!! I was playing well and being vocal…both of what I look to bring to the table next year.
Like any summer camp attendee, Scoop seems to have made a nice, little group of friends over the summer. TeamRec seems to include some of the finest players in college basketball.
Scoop's summer isn't complete, he's still got the 2011 USA Basketball Men’s World University Games team training camp. The training camp, which will be held July 29 to Aug. 7 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO and 12 players will be chosen to represent the US in China August 13-23.
If it means Scoop can keep blogging, I'm all for him making Team USA.
