The FBI and Old Bridge and Wall Township police departments are working together to catch a man and his accomplice wanted in connection with robberies in the two municipalities.
The Wall Township Police Department sent information about the robbery to law enforcement officials and found that a similar robbery had occurred at gunpoint at a jewelry store, which officials declined to identify, on Route 9 in Old Bridge in 2007.
The robber is described as a large, white male, about 5-foot-10 and about 180 to 200 pounds.
In one instance, he wore an orange Syracuse basketball hat. manufacturered by Top of the World Caps.
