A round of golf, a buffet dinner and Doug Marrone. What could be better than that?

You'll have the chance to experience all three at the Third Annual Dimples Awareness Foundation (DAF) Golf Tournament on Wednesday, June 1, at Drumlins Country Club.

The golf tournament will begin with registration at 12:00 p.m. followed by a 1:00 ap.m. shotgun start. After golf, enjoy an outdoor Happy Hour followed by ‘Dine and Dance with the Mere Mortals’ beginning at 5:30 p.m., which includes a buffet dinner and entertainment – an exclusive performance by one of Central New York’s most popular bands (http://themeremortals.net/).

Our ever-popular silent auction will be open throughout the day, featuring rounds of golf at area courses, food and beverage baskets, a Tim Green autographed book collection, a lacrosse stick signed by Gary Gait, and more!

Doug and Helen Marrone are the honorary co-chairs of the event. Costs are $500 foursome or $125 per golfer. Or, if you just want to attend the dinner, it's $50. Not too shabby.

Founded in 2008, the Dimples Awareness Foundation aims to help bring awareness to dimpling of the skin as a sign of breast cancer. A mother of three from Jamesville, NY, Colleen LaTray's breast cancer diagnosis was made after she discovered dimpling on her breast, not the a-typical lump. Colleen started the foundation with family and friends to alert women of this lesser-known warning sign.
