Coach Hop and Coach Mac, welcoming YOU to their Academy.

Depending on how old you are and how most disposable income you have lying around, you'll going to be pending this summer with some very important Syracuse coaches.

As you know, Jim Boeheim Fantasy Camp is basically the best thing you could possibly do with $5,500. But you have to be at least 35 to attend, no fantasies for the young lads.

So what are the youngens supposed to do? Well they still need to learn about two things. Leading and life. They'll get both at Mike Hopkins' and Gerry McNamara's Basketball Academy this spring.

Syracuse assistant coach Mike Hopkins and graduate assistant Gerry McNamara are holding a Basketball Academy this spring. It is scheduled for May 3 - June 16.Training sessions will be held on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The Academy is open to children in first grade through sixth grade.

The Academy incorporates basketball and life skills to help future student-athletes be successful on and off the court. Hopkins and McNamara incorporate a "Leaders For Life" program as part of the academy.

Head on over to Coach Hop's website to watch a short video on the Academy and then get your eight-year-old ready to go, whether they want to or not.

The question remains, what do you do this summer if you're between the ages of 13 and 34?
