Michael Muehling, formerly with the Syracuse University football program, has been appointed athletic academic coordinator/head football coach at Hudson Valley Community College, according to Director of Athletics Kristan M. Pelletier. His appointment concludes a national search to replace former head coach, Jason Houghtaling, who resigned to become the offensive coordinator at Wagner College. Muehling served as the defensive quality control coach for two seasons as a member of Doug Marrone’s staff at Syracuse.
