Thoughts after the jump...
Two ESPN Network appearances, at least. The USF game is locked in for ESPN2 and the season-ender could be anywhere between ESPN2, ESPN and even ABC depending on the Big East title implications. That's nice.
Another season, another September that we should expect to start at least 3-1. In fact, call me cocky but five wins by early October seems extremely doable.
Goodbye UConn as the last opponent of the Big East season. After two seasons with the Huskies as our end-of-the-year dance partner, it's now Pitt. Shame to see that little tradition in the making end but it speaks volumes about how the league sees Syracuse's potential this year.
Pretty even home and away set-up. At least two home games each month.
Orange still get a little screwed on the bye weeks. With the Rutgers game coming so early that means the Orange play straight-shot until mid-October. The timing is good since we play West Virginia the next week. After that it's a mid-November week-off before Cincinnati. Would like to see a bye a little earlier in the season and I feel like having the bye before the Pitt game would be a little beneficial.
