Between a top ten showdown against the Florida Gators, a do-or-die football game with bowl eligibility on the line against the Pittsburgh Panthers and everything swirling around the Bernie Fine allegations, this weekend has serious potential to be one of the most memorable for Syracuse Orange fans in a long time...and that isn't necessarily a good thing.
Tonight, the Syracuse basketball team looks to extend it's undefeated start to 8-0 and notch their first seriously-legit win of the year when they host Florida at 7:00pm ET in the Carier Dome. The game will be televised on ESPN as part of the Big East/SEC Challenge, Mike Tirico and Jay Bilas are announcing.
Saturday, the football team tries (once again) to get bowl eligible against the Panthers. Its winner take all for both 5-6 teams as the Quest For Beef culminates. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
