Nothing too shocking in the new AP and Coaches Polls this week, especially up top where very little changed.

In the AP, the 4-0 Orange retain their No. 5 spot behind North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio State and UConn with Duke trailing closely in the sixth spot. Other ranked Big East squads include No. 7 Louisville, No. 16 Marquette and No. 17 Pittsburgh, who tumbled after losing to Long Beach State last week.

Daily Herald reporter Scott Johnson is your true believer of the week, ranking the Orange all the way up at No. 2 in his poll. LA Daily News' Scott Wolf remains your most hated person of the week, keeping the Orange all the way down at No. 10.

Over in the Coaches, the top eight is exactly the same as the AP. Along with No. 5 Syracuse is No. 4 UConn, No. 7 Louisville, No. 16 Pitt and No. 17 Marquette.

The No. 5 Orange take on Virginia Tech in Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.
