One day after senior wide receiver Dorian Graham and Chandler Jones earned ECAC Special Teams and Defensive Player of the Week honors, senior quarterback Ryan Nassib matched his teammates which his selection as the ECAC Offensive Player of the Week. Nassib had five touchdowns in Syracuse 49-23 victory over No. 11/14 West Virginia last weekend.

"When I played years ago, Syracuse was an elite program and Paul Pasqualoni did a nice job of recruiting a tremendous level of athletic ability on both sides of the football. When I played, Marvin Graves was a quarterback, Qadry Ismail was a wide receiver, they had great defensive players, they took the field and they were as athletic as anyone they played, and I really feel that they can get back to that," Herbstreit said.
