The good news is, you don't have to bother watching the Army All-American Game now...
Ishaq Williams hinted in an article today that there was a chance he might postpone his decision rather than announce it during Saturday's game. Friday night that came true as the New York Post reported that Williams would push the announcement to next week.
The Post has exclusively learned. Instead, the 6-foot-6, 220-pound dynamo, a five-star recruit by Scout.com and the seventh-rated defensive end in the country, will make his selection next week, a well-placed source said.
Notre Dame, Syracuse and Penn State remain the only three options. There have been rumblings Williams would visit Miami, but that is not the case, the source said. Williams took official visits to Notre Dame and Syracuse and has been on the Penn State campus several times.
Well, the good news is that it doesn't sound like Miami is in the mix (or are they?). The bad news is that it sounds like Penn State is back in it. Someone must've blabbed that Williams was crossing them off.
The Fizz, who has been all over the Williams Saga, has a theory on what's holding up Ishaq's decision...
Williams is allegedly hung up on an undisclosed and unspecified problem at one school, which The Fizz believes is the DC situation at Penn State.
Bradley has been hotly-rumored to be taking over the Pitt gig. If Bradley returns to Penn State, does Ishaq go with him? Like most things in these situations...who knows...
Sorry everyone, we're dragging this out for a few more days (not that I blame the kid, he should take as much time as he wants on a decision like this).
