Syracuse University lacrosse team loses promising freshman Hakeem Lecky to serious wrist injury | syracuse.com
The promise ended in pain Wednesday afternoon at practice when the true freshman midfielder suffered a severe injury to his left wrist that required surgery to repair and will likely cost him the entire season. "Very disappointed," SU coach John Desko said this afternoon before practice. "I think he was one of the freshmen who was going to get game time right away for us. He was out the front of the line. Now, he’s out of the line. We have some adjustments to make."
NCAA College Basketball Power Rankings - NCAA Basketball - ESPN
The Orange might have won more respect with their first loss than with all their victories. Coming back from a 19-0 deficit to go toe to toe with Pittsburgh on the road without Kris Joseph said a lot about the talent of this team. C.J. Fair's play was even more eye-opening.
Orange::44: Syracuse-Villanova FAQ
If I become a Long Ranger, will I be able to see the game? Honestly, this is a fair question. I know some people who had long range seats last year who had a difficult time seeing. The Carrier Dome claims they don't sell seats with an obstructed view, but if you can't see the Court, surely you can see a video board. It will be worth it either way.

WBB | Sophomore surge: In 2nd season with Orange, Hall becoming consistent scorer - The Daily Orange - Sports
The higher expectations that come with being a full-time starter haven't seemed to affect Hall so far. The guard is the second-leading scorer on the Orange (13-4, 1-3 Big East), and she leads the team in 3-point percentage. Her role as a scorer has expanded from one of instant offense off the bench to a consistent producer all game long. She's becoming a leader for the Orange, and dating back to mid-December, she has been the team's most steady performer.
