Syracuse Daily Links - Trudo Good To Go

Scout.com: Trudo 100-Percent Orange
Robert Trudo was listed as a soft verbal after scheduling an official visit with Michigan, however as he said before visiting that visit was essentially for entertainment purposes and he re-affirmed on Saturday that he is 100-percent with Syracuse.

OrangeHoops: 18-0!!
This year’s squad is running deeper than most Syracuse teams, going nine players deep routinely. Part of that is somewhat misleading in that Fab Melo really has not been playing much, putting the team into a eight man rotation shortly after tip off. However, if his effort in the Cincinnati game last night is a sign of things to come in the near future, that would be a blessing for the Orange.

John Wallace's son is providing the thrills now at Greece Athena High | syracuse.com
John Wallace Jr. is a 6-foot-1 senior guard for the Greece Athena Trojans. He is 17 years old, averages close to 25 points a game and is drawing a bit of interest from Division I schools like Canisius and Buffalo. During a 90-60 victory over Churchville Chili on Monday, Wallace scored 33 points including a thunderous dunk over two defenders. He drew a foul and made the free throw. It was one of three natural three-point plays he made during a 20-point first half.

The Hoops Report | Syracuse or SDSU Should be #1, Not OSU or Kansas
Syracuse might have an argument for No. 1. The Orange have the No. 4 RPI and No. 27 SOS with a 3-0 record vs. the top 50. They are a notch below San Diego State in each of those categories. In non-conference play, their best win came over Michigan State on a neutral court. Their next best non-conference win came over Drexel at home. In conference play, they have wins over Notre Dame, St. John's and Cincinnati. The Notre Dame win looks good because the Irish are a top-10 team in RPI. The St. John's win looks good because the Red Storm are a top-20 RPI team and that win was on the road.

Pasqualoni planted seeds with coaching clinics at Syracuse | syracuse.com
For each of his 14 seasons as the head coach of the Orange, Paul Pasqualoni held football clinics. And every year, high school coaches from across Connecticut, New York and New Jersey would flock to his camp. And for that day, just about whatever these high school coaches wanted, they got. Especially answers.
