Syracuse University cornerback Mike Holmes earns second Big East honor | syracuse.com
Holmes averaged 33 yards on two punt returns, including a thrilling 62-yarder that led to SU's first touchdown of the game. Holmes gathered in a Maine punt at the SU 11-yard line, cut to the right sideline, then reversed field and sped up the left sideline, almost breaking it for a touchdown. Holmes currently leads the conference with an average of 17.7 yard per return.
