Jarrod West's Season Goes South In A Hurry

Yesterday we heard that freshman Jarrod West left the field with a foot-related issue and that it didn't look good.  Turns out that West had fractured his fifth metatarsal, which we all know is the money metatarsal, and he immediately went under the knife of Dr. Irving Raphael to fix it.

Unfortunately, that now means the promising young receiver who was expected to contribute this year will be "out indefinitely." Bah.

I'm assuming there's still time for a medical redshirt here so at least he won't lose a year of eligibility.  Good luck and get better, Jarrod.  We'll need you back on the field soon enough.
